【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethodcoverstheuseofdynamicmechanicalinstrumentationforgatheringandreportingtheviscoelasticpropertiesofthermoplasticandthermosettingresinsandcompositesystemsintheformofcylindricalspecimensmoldeddirectlyorcutfromsheets,plates,ormoldedshapes.Thecompressiondatageneratedmaybeusedtoidentifythethermomechanicalpropertiesofaplasticsmaterialorcompositionusingavarietyofdynamicmechanicalinstruments.1.2Thistestmethodisintendedtoprovidemeansfordeterminingthemodulusasafunctionoftemperatureofawidevarietyofplasticsmaterialsusingnonresonantforced-vibrationtechniques,asoutlinedinPracticeD4065.Plotsoftheelastic(storage),loss(viscous)andcomplexmoduliandtandeltaasafunctionoffrequency,time,ortemperatureareindicativeofsignificanttransitionsinthethermomechanicalperformanceofthepolymericmaterialsystem.1.3Thistestmethodisvalidforawiderangeoffrequencies,typicallyfrom0.01to100Hz.1.4Apparentdiscrepanciesmayariseinresultsobtainedunderdifferingexperimentalconditions.Theseapparentdifferencesfromresultsobservedinanotherstudycanusuallybereconciled,withoutchangingtheobserveddata,byreportinginfull(asdescribedinthistestmethod)theconditionsunderwhichthedatawereobtained.1.5Duetopossibleinstrumentationcompliance,thedatageneratedareintendedtoindicaterelativeandnotnecessarilyabsolutepropertyvalues.1.6Testdataobtainedbythistestmethodarerelevantandappropriateforuseinengineeringdesign.1.7ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.8Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note18212;ThereisnosimilarorequivalentISOstandard.
